Jeff Rohrbaugh had
another great run for a win Friday Night and Brad McClelland had a strong run
from 20th to get the Hard Charger Award at Trail Way Speedway.
Jessie was lucky to make the feature in her heat race with an over heating
car. Making the feature and skipping the Consi allowed her crew to change the
radiator. Good thing the Dietrich's had a spare. Thanks.
With the replacement radiator and a few sheet metal modifications we were
able to get the temperature down to a manageable range. I'm sure Walter Smith
has two or three loose items in his hand still. Jessie's dad would turn every
few minutes with "hold this" <G>.
The car and driver looked good in the feature. Jessie started 21st and made
several good passes to move up, finishing 13th. All in all a great feature.
Jessie expects great things when she can put together a strong heat and feature
back to back. Randy and Doug are putting a great car on the track.
If you're in need of tires in the Westminster area, stop by Barnes Service
Center and ask for Matt or Steve. At the recommendation of Brad McClelland, we
went by and purchased a couple new rear trailer tires and a spare wheel. They
gave us great service and they're racers as well. Tell them Jessie sent you.
Next Sunday Jessie hopes to have her car at the 22nd Annual Latimore Valley
Fair if it's all goes well Friday night. Either way she will be there.
The 22nd Annual Latimore Valley Fair is a Country Festival in conjunction
with the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.
