June 13 2009 Tough Couple Weeks For Racers
Rained out last week. We are looking for some
nice weekend weather for a change.
Friday night at Trail Way Speedway
we broke a brake bleeder. By the time we were
done we had changed the front and rear calipers and missed our heat. On
this night there were only 21 Sprint Cars so no consi race. Jessie
started at the back of the feature field and finished 16th in
her 20|20 Power
358 Sprint car. A good run considering we were
unable to get all the air out of the brake lines. A double or triple
pump of the brakes entering the corners at 95 MPH will sure upset a car
and the corner of the car that is supposed to be planted.
We should have it ready for
Susquehanna Speedway Park's
special 358 Sprint Race Sunday the 14th.
Now Jessie has some new pictures from the
Speedway 94 in
Hanover, PA. It’s the best place to drive go karts in Central PA. They
have Karts with wings that resemble 410’s and some wingless karts that
have body work to match local 358 Sprint Cars. This winter Jessie was
delighted to be asked if she would like one to have her decals on it.

is having fun learning the whole business of Broadcasting and
