June 4, 2009 A Little Rain and A Little Racing.

 

Yes you read that right it was just the reverse of last week.

 

This past weekend we were rained out at Trail Way Speedway Friday night so Jessie’s 20|20 Power 358 Winged Sprint had to stay in the shop.

 

Saturday Night the All American Outlaws were at Trail Way Speedway hoping for good weather and they got it.  The “Little Racing” occurred just after lap one as the whole field entered turn one and two.  Jessie started on the inside a few rows back from the front.  One of the cars up front lost it and blocked the lower half of the track.  With cars on the outside trying to fit through an opening for one, Jessie had to look low.  The possibility up high being blocked she turned the car around and backed in slow to the first car.  As most of the field was behind her it didn’t take long before they all met in the middle of the turn.  The 01 was one of several cars that ended up in the pits unable to continue.

 

Jessie’s brother Breck who’s in the military was home for the weekend to visit before going back overseas.  He and his wife live in North Carolina and Jessie gets to see him about once a year.  It was great having him home.
