My First Trip to the Knoxville Nationals, August 11, 2010

I got to Iowa on Monday morning and went to Oskaloosa Speedway that night to watch the Front Row Challenge.  Joey Saldana and Tyler Walker put on a good race during the King of the Hill Shoot Out.
The next day,  I was able to check out Knoxville Raceway.  This track is beautiful!  I am having so much fun.  I would LOVE to race the Knoxville nationals one day!

This past weekend at Trail-Way, I was back to feeling good in the 20|20 Power 358 Sprint Car.  It was nice to see some additional central PA drivers come out for the Trail-Way and Lincoln Shoot out.  I had fun racing with them.
As is normal for me, I pulled a bad pill for starting position.  I started second to last in the heat race and got up to 6th, which is a qualifying spot.  I started the feature in 16th and finished 12th.  The car handled very well.  The motor may be getting tired.

This coming weekend I have no racing, which conveniently lined up with the Knoxville Nationals.  We will be back at it in my Sprint Car and the A and D All American Outlaw Car at Trail-Way Speedway on August 20, 2010.
August 17, 2010, be sure to tune into ACTV at 7 p.m.  Mike Duncan Jr., his father, and grandfather will be on RACE NIGHT!  Mike Jr. got his first 358 Sprint Car win in only his 13th race.
Hope to see you at Knoxville!
