Off Season comes to an end with the York County Racing Club
Last Wednesday Jessie had the opportunity to be the guest at the York County Racing Club. It went great and she met some great folks. They do a great service for the racer and the fan. Jessie suggests you join if you’re not already a member, it’s money well spent http://www.ycrc.org/
As most of you know we don’t have much of a racing background locally or nationally, not much historical perspective. So the times friends will ask “do you know so and so?” are becoming fun with our answer being “no” and the look of bewilderment on the face of our friends. It happened a few weeks ago with Brad Noffsinger. Well this week it was Lynn Paxton. Rick Mandelson took Jessie by to see his shop on the way to the Wednesday night meeting. She thoroughly enjoyed the visit. He came to the YCRC meeting and I had a chance to meet him as well. Great guy, so I look up his name and sure enough he’s raced some
Our friend Steve Miller told me he has seen real growth in Jessie from the time he met us last year and Wednesday night and I agree. She had a chance to tell a little about herself and then the session was opened up for questions. The folks there had some great questions. Our area has some great racers and race fans. Thank you York County Racing Club.
Next expected race date will be Trail Way Speedway Friday the 7th of April.
