What inspires your poetry?

A lot of my poetic inspiration are moments in my life that lead to me feeling a lot of emotion(s) all at once. My poetry tends to be an outlet of the racing thoughts that happen when I feel heightened.

How does writing prose poetry differ from the usual format we anticipate when we think of poetry?

A lot of the difference boils down to formatting as the most basic difference, but there's also thematic and metaphoric differences in the writing style being more free verse and therefore free thought.

Is there a meaning behind the title, Wilderness Hair, that goes deeper than what is written in the poem?
